This project is a collaboration between Ernesto Dávila Marin and Heriberto Marin Torres of the Museo de Nuestros Martires in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, Dr. Lara Kelland, and Javier Francisco Bonilla. Lara and Javier met Ernesto in 2016 on a research trip in Puerto Rico, and then spent a week in March 2017 digitizing objects from the museum.
Lara Kelland is an Assistant professor of Public and U.S. History at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. She is a scholar of social movements and collective memory, and she teaches and practices digital and public history.
Javier Francisco Bonilla is a doctoral student at Carnegie Mellon University.
